One question I have for when I approach my internship is that I would like to know what it is like on a day to day basis. Especially how stressful can it get at my work cite. I would like to just be prepared for whatever challenges that come my way. Along with how it is on a day to day basis, it is important for me to ask how much do we interact with other co-workers. Even though I will eventually find out how it is on a day to basis, it is just good for me to know before hand, it would make me feel more confident.
The kind of environment I would like to work in is the type where I can be able to come up to people without hesitating on what they’re going to think. It is also important for me to work in an environment where I am always interacting with people, always communicating and possibly working in teams. I would like it to balance where they would let me also be an independent worker to show them I am capable on working alone.
The kind of manager I would to work under is the type who pushes me to do my best and at the same time who has a lot of knowledge that can teach me skills that can benefit me in the long run. I would especially like to work under someone who is dedicated to helping reach my full potential. I wouldn’t want somebody who is always busy and basically someone who wouldn’t have time for especially when I ask for their time.
